Blogs You Should Be Reading

There are myriad better bloggers and site owners than me – guys who know their stuff and freely share their knowledge and experience. Here’s a few kinksters, subs, Doms, and the otherwise unclassifiable I look up to and learn from:

Vulcan
Not really a blog, per se, and far as I can tell, not updated much, if at all, anymore.  But the archive material is worth reading as he gives a really great overview on all aspects of the BDSM life, especially understanding what makes a good sub/bottom.

The Master and His slave – from Master Christopher and His pupslave keith
Two up and coming leaders in the whole world of Master/slave dynamic and lifestyles, at least in the circles I follow. This is a married duo who fell in love first, and then discovered and added the M/s roles to their relationship. In between delightful recountings of their sexcapades is a lot of great knowledge born of experience and their own learning journeys. Must read.

24/7/365 BDSM Blog
One of the newer additions to my feed reader, I’m still getting to know this blog but I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve read so far. The personal musings, some introspective, some perspectives on the lifestyle, but a thoughtful well-written blog I’m looking forward to reading more from.

Break the Twink and Ben in Leather Land
Joe and Ben are two guys I look up to because I wish I was like them when I was their age, which isn’t that long ago – jeebus I’m only 28 – but at the ages they started I was still figuring out that Yes I was gay and Yes that’s okay. So to me, they are two blogmentors who know their shit. Ben’s also a great rope top, from what I’ve seen, and doubtless you’ve seen him or his work and just didn’t know it was him.

Sparky’s No Safe Word BlogSparky’s been exploring the kinky life for seven years, he says, and his blog is full of great stories of his experience, insights and advice from his perspective on the life. I’m still getting to know this blog, too, but I’m looking forward to reading more.

There are more blogs to talk about, of course, but we’ll get to them at another time. If you aren’t already reading these, then you best be on your way because they are way more interesting and useful that me.

Blushing

So I was on family vacation last week (which in itself is a form of mental S&M). While I was gone my blog apparently skyrocketed in traffic (relatively speaking, of course) on the first day I was gone. I rarely look at my stats – and today it was just on a lark because I’m bored – but it turns out someone over at GayDemon.com wrote a nice little profile about me. I almost feel like blushing!  Even more so when I’m there next to awesome guys like Ruff (who is in the “anytime, anywhere” category) and Scott, whose blogs I love.

So … wow. Now I feel a little bad I don’t update as regularly. heh

Also – I just discovered MetalBondNYC linked to me and I discovered a new blog called Paridiso Estremo linking to me too (and added to my reader). Thanks guys!
